Tierra Verde Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Arlington, Texas.
Tierra Verde golf course opened in 1998. the course was designed by Graham & Panks International.
Arlington Golf closely partnered with the designers as well as Audubon International to assure that Tierra Verde Golf Club emerged as a spectacular championship facility.

These principles include wildlife conservation and habitat enhancement, water quality management and conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction and integrated pest management.

I have played TV numerous times over the years......always using Avid Golfer coupon which is a great deal @ $30.xx / regular rates are cost prohitive for me. Always have the loved the layout/design and natural effect this course maintains ~ it is no wonder it receives countless accolades from the Audubon Society. NTX is in the midst of a drought currently, could be a reason the fairways were not up to previous standards. Vast majority of the golfing public fail to repair divots and ball marks!!! With the aforementioned drought conditions - could be why the course seemed WORN as compared to previous outings. Look forward to playing again, but never @ regular rates.

very unique course, it is a nature preserve type of course, cannot play out of any of the nature areas. regular rates are too high, but will play it when i find deals.

The course was in excellent condition for early winter. Most holes were chalenging with a variety of shots required. Fairways were apply wide but roughs were narrow. Errant shot beyond the cut rough normally resulted in lost ball. Some water crossings but little parralel water hazards. Average number of sand traps that are well maintained and not excessively deep. Greens are gradually undulating and fast.

Love this golf course!!!!
It has fairly wide fairways. You can hit driver on most of the par 4's. You have to use almost every club in the bag. There are long par 4's (480 yds) and driveable par 4's (280 yds). There is par 3 with an (almost) island green. It has two par 5's that can be reached in two with two good shots. It has two par 5's that are definitely three shot holes. The traps penalize bad shots, but still let you play the hole with a shot that is just a little off target. The wait staff were excellent.
The only problem I have with Tierra Verde Golf Club, besides the price, is the driving area on the par 5 16th hole. The drive is tough enough already when you have to cross about 200 yards of water, so why put sand traps almost all the way across the fairway.
Fill them in or make them grass bunkers - just a thought.
Otherwise, I love this course and I would play it a lot more often if it were a little less pricey.

I thought the course was a very fair, well designed and interesting to play. The course has some nice elevation changes and also requires a variety of shots and course management strategies. We found the staff very congenial and helpful. I will play it again and will recommend it to my golfing buddies.

Tierra Verde is a nice course. However it is not price competitive. There are many other courses in the area that are as nice as Tierra verde but at a better price (lower). My group will choose other courses in the future because of the cost consideration. We have mentioned this to the powers to be at Tierra Verde and we were told fine, go play them. They had no interest in what we had to say or our business. Oh by the way, we are all seniors that play a lot of golf.

A great public course with the best staff and service I have seen in a non-resort course!

Greta layout, but with some forgettable holes.#1 is fairly short, no traps and forgettable. # 2 is difficult hole for so early in one's round, forced carry off the tee and multiple fairway bunkers. Probably would be better if it had fewer bunkers in the fairway and maybe another around the green. # 12 is pretty bald. # 18 is a tough finishing hole and is strategically fun. Course is usually well maintained.
